Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
